All overseas trained Dentists are assessed by ADC i.e.  Australian Dental Council which accredits many dental schools. After assessment, dentists are allowed to obtain registration in Australia. From application to verification of dental qualification for migration purpose, ADC assesses all the activities for dentists.

This examination includes all clinical disciplines such as Orthodontics, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Pharmacology.
The Preliminary written Examination is usually held in the month of March and September in India, Australia and many other countries but the final Examination is held only in Australia, usually twice a year in July and November.

 Step 3: Registration

After qualifying both the exams the applicants can apply for registration.
The Dentistry Board of Australia considers application for registration and conducts a criminal history check.
